up north

Last weekend we headed up north to visit our new great granddaughter, finally, and to get in one last day of fishing with Kevin.
Keagen is a cute little thing, 3 weeks old and about 6+ pounds, less than her grandpa weighed when he was born. Kevin seems to be settling into the role of grandpa quite well, and Keagen is the center of much attention by the women of the family.
Fishing was good, but the catching was rather slow, what with winds 15-20, overcast skies and 50 something temperature. But wait until next time!
We left the Falls on monday and drove on down Corrines way stopping for lunch at Bena Cracker Barrel we went on out to Corrines and enjoyed walking around her beautiful place waaay back in the woods, looking at fall colors and all the additional equipment that Bob has stashed in the sugar house, to enlarge his maple syrup operation for next spring,. and waited for her to come home. We had a good visit with her and left early tuesday morning for home.
Now, if someone wants to come here and show me how to add more than one picture to this blasted blog, I would be eternally grateful!
