O'Dark Thirty

It was a strange twist when Jim dropped me off at the airport this morning. I'm on my way to Seattle to deliver a Build-A-Bike workshop for Microsoft. I'll return on Thursday and Jim flies to Seattle on Sunday for a two week nerd class...I mean, training. So many layers of irony there!

Last night we had dinner with friends in Nashville (where Jim will stay/play through the weekend). Sunday night we enjoyed dinner at Jason and Nabila's. I won't share all the details of the menu in case that's not standard company fare, but it was truly a delight!

When we were in Savannah, we watched a sun set and I've never seen so many dolphins at one time. A huge pod hung around a fishing boat - it was such a treat to watch. The next morning we got up to watch the sun rise over the Atlantic and I've never seen so many pelicans at one time. Dozens flew by us in batches of 10-12, like a pelican parade.

One of the benefits of this crazy homeless adventure is being able to enjoy such a variety of wonders of nature, plus spend time with friends and family.
