  2. I don't have time to do that now, is a winter project, but here is another thing I worked on
    hello again,

OK here is your scoop on the new cafe in town.

I talked with the new owners this morning. You can use all or some or none of this info and I have their phone # 763-442-2156, I asked for, in case I screw this up or my editor wants to know something else she can call you. They were fine with that.
New owners are Steve and Cheryl Nagel. Steve grew up in Rose Creek.
Cheryl dad used to own the Red Cedar Inn in Austin, think that is where they met. Steve has been cooking for 30 years. He and Cheryl have extensive remodeling experience. They remodeled a 26 room hotel in albert Lea, and have remodeled about 20 houses. Steve invited me to have a go at the jackhammer he had brought along this morning, but I declined.
Their vision for our cafe is- create what will be the nicest cafe in the area.
Include a Caribou Coffee environment in one corner with internet access available for customers.
A large dining area, private room for meeting, move the bathrooms, remodel the entire enterior with some what they describe as high end decor.
As to when they might open- They own a home in Minneapolis they have to sell, and both have full time jobs up there now, so they work on this project as time permits, so they are thinking 3-6 months to the opening.
That is about all I have for now, I left a card with my phone and email in case they wanted to contact me later for further updates.
A picture of the both of them inside in from of the old menu board, beside the soda machine will follow, I think, I hope.
