About your mom
I am sure that all of you know that your mom sang in a Christmas Contatta in December. It was about 30 people from the choirs of diferent churches that got together and performed at one of the churches, and the place was packed! Awhile ago, a member of Christian Women's Club asked your mom if she could sing at one of their meetings, as part of the program. Your mom didn't feel comfortable doing it solo. She got on the phone, called some of the other ladies she had met while participating in the Christmas program, including a choir director. Some said yes and some said no, but she put together a group of 4, and the ladies at Christian Women's Club all enjoyed the performance very much! I just thought you might be interested in knowing what an organizer your mom has turned out to be! As a result of this, the choir director that led her little group has asked her if she would be willing to participate in a choir composed of many diferent churches, for a good friday performance. Your mom agreed. I just hope the lutherans don't find out your mom is singing in a choir at the big methodist church in Austin. dad
