Sailing Lessons!

Wheel at SunsetWe head out in a bit to start the first of our ASA sailing lessons to earn our bareboat licenses.  This weekend is ASA101, in 2 weeks we have ASA103, and then after the folks are here in February we take ASA104.  This combination of classes will give us a license to rent boats anywhere in the world “bareboat”, i.e. without a captain.

We’ve been doing the book study and testing on our own, so the weekends are 100% boat time.  Long days, but it’s the most efficient way to get it done.

Lots to learn, but luckily sailing is in Colette’s blood so it should be quick and easy for her!

  1. I don't envy anyone of anything, but if I think about what you are doing here, I might possible feel a tinge of envy.......
