HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Well, as they say, 2010 is history. Yesterday morning I ran into a young fellow I know at the grocery store. Come to think about it, that description, "younger fellow or younger woman" seems to fit a lot of the people I know these days. Maybe it has something to do with my age. That reminds me of this woman I know that works for the undertaker. I have known her for years, and we usually meet with a casual, " hi, how are you" as we pass. But I have gradually come to realize that the older I get the friendlier she seems to be. Last week, for instance, when I met her in a store, she seemed so happy to see me that I swear, I thought she was going to hug me!

But... I digress. Back to this young fellow I met in the grocery store. I asked him if he was getting ready to go out and celebrate New Year's Eve. "No", he said. "I stay home on New Year's Eve. When I wake up the next morning, I feel better, I have more money in my pocket, and I remember what I did last night."

OK. Maybe he has a good idea there.
