My goodness, doesn't seem to be much activity on the family blog of late.
Colette, thank you for your Thanksgiving wish. We had a good one.
This past weekend, your mom participated in a Christmas concert at a church in Austin. I guess they call it a Christmas Contatta. I believe there were 20-25 singers involved, they have been practicing once a week since September, and last nite it all came together in a very impressive performance at Crane Chapel.
The weather was chilly, but civilized. Much better than friday nite when they practiced for almost 2 hours, we were under a winter storm warning, I think we got about 7 inches of snow friday and friday nite, the roads were awful, but we got it done. Corrine and Bob drove down friday nite, getting here about 1:00 a.m. Your mom and Corrine went shopping saturday morning, (big surprise)
we had the concert saturday nite, and a potluck dinner after church today, after which Corrine and Bob headed north.
A great weekend. Your mom said she has had her Christmas now. And with this cold weather that has set in, about 4 above this morning, we are looking forward to visiting Colette and Jim in February! Oh yeah.
Well, that was our weekend. What about the rest of you? I know Steve and Justin were deer hunting......???
