Dolphins!

I’m enjoying everybody’s posts and comments.  I guess you could say I’ve been “lurking”.  One of my colleagues is on a cruise so that creates extra work (and business) for those left behind.  Not complaining at all, especially since I know I’m taking time off in May.

We’ve been surrounded by dolphins lately.  If you haven’t already, check out the pod that followed us while we were sailing here.

Last week we were back in Venice, FL housesitting and saw dolphins on our morning walk along the South Jetty. View album. 

Then a couple days ago we were in our rented condo in Punta Gorda and heard the familiar “pffft”.  We ran outside like kids who heard Santa on the roof.  Yep, two dolphins swimming in the canal. It’s very unusual to have them here, especially since it’s a dead-end canal.  What a treat!

It’s fitting then that we are headed to Key Largo, FL tomorrow and will be swimming/snorkeling with dolphins!  Check our site over the weekend for more pics of dolphins and diving.

A beautiful sunrise had started as I was typing this – all pink and purple.  Now a heavy fog has rolled in and I can barely even see the canal!
